Google Calendar Integration: Ability to add invitees to the Google Calendar event
Chris Tan
If a guest uses Google Calendar, they would be notified within Google Calendar.
Challenges:
- If the guest does not use Google Calendar, they would get an extra email (sent via Google Calendar) in addition to the confirmation email (sent via CozyCal).
- A CozyCal event's title & description on Google Calendar is Host facing and not guest facing. This would need to be changed.
Edit
the below seems solvable, see my reply below:- For events with multiple guests:
1. There doesn't seem to be a way to hide the guest list
2. There doesn't seem to be a way to share the private information with the guest. For example, the guest's event confirmation link.

Yeah I totally understand that there are challenges around this feature that would impact some of your other use cases.
From our perspective, we want as little friction as possible for our recipients. If they have to open an email and click on a link to get it on their calendar, then there's a chance they'll not do that and miss the meeting which wastes our time (no show) and causes delays/rescheduling for them.
Thanks for adding this feature request, we'd be really excited to see it built 🙂

Andrew Rasmussen: For sure. Thanks for the feature request. I think it'd be useful, and I'll give it some more thought.
Actually looking at the google docs more carefully I think both 1 & 2 could be solved via extended properties (https://developers.google.com/calendar/extended-properties) and the
guestsCanSeeOtherGuests
property.Chris Tan
Hmm. Looks like Extended Properties are not viewable in the Google Calendar client.
